Pad Thai

Ingredients:

1 cup tamarind sauce
-
3/4 cup sugar or honey
-
1 1/2 Tb. salt
-
3 Tb. soy sauce
-
1 cup pineapple juice
-
1/2 Tb. onion powder
-
1/2 Tb. garlic powder
-
1 Tb. yeast flakes
-
1 Tb. chicken style seasoning
-
Place all the ingredients together in a blender and blend on high till liquid. Pour it into a pot a cook for about 10-15 minutes.

1 bag rice noodle
-
5 cups mung bean sprout
-
1 cup carrots sliced into strips
-
1 cup green onion sliced
-
1 cup roasted peanut crushed
-
1/2 cup chopped onion
-
1 Tb. garlic crushed
Instructions:

In a wok or large skillet place a little oil and heat.

Saute the garlic and onion till tender.

Add the carrots and cook for a few minutes.

Add the noodles and bean sprouts add as much sauce as desired and cook till the noodles are soft but cooked.

Add the peanuts and green onion.

Toss together and serve immediately.
