Most of the heroes of the New Testament church were evangelists. The personal ministry of Jesus in saving the lost continues to be the primary model; but Peter, Paul, Barnabas, Philip, Steven, Timothy, and John Mark all figure prominently in early church histroy because they worked tirelessly and effectively to win new converts to Jesus Christ and to make the first century grow. That pattern has continued throughout the centuries to our day.
Personal Ministry
Each church member is called to ministry in the local church. Every believer is a missionary to their family members, work associates, neighbors and others that he or she touches every day. We are each called to utilize the unique opportunities and spiritual gifts that God has given to each of us to accomplish His will.
The Personal Ministries Department is a resource for materials to train and equip the local church member for ministry. From time to time, seminars will be offered to help equip members for witnessing and soul-winning. Links on the conference website will provide a ready source of materials for training and witnessing.
